Sanctuary Cove Boat Show Update Friday 21 May 2010
There were testing conditions at the Boat Show on Friday, reflecting the same conditions that the show had the previous year's Day One proceedings.
Visitors again had come unprepared for the extreme conditions, with the Gold Coast usually known for its beautiful, warm & sunny conditions.
People were ducking for cover looking for the best possible sheltering position at the Show. One of the most popular locations at around 1pm when the heaviest showers hit ,was around Nautical Matters and the waterproof & warm jackets for sale. We had sold out of the small amount of umbrellas we had within 5 seconds upon opening.
Today, typical Gold Coast weather is expected and the store is prepared and ready to roll with polarised sunglasses (15% off , ladies skorts, mens shorts, $6 tee-shirt rack and $15 polo rack, even the novelty captain hat.
